SS Valencia sinking plaque installed at Pachena Bay
The Sinking of the SS Valencia off the west coast of Vancouver Island in 1906 has been recognized by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada as an event of historic significance and a monument installed at Pachena Bay, near the West Coast Trail office, about 10 kilometres from where the wreck lies.
