In 2017 the Bamfield Historical Society received a BC/Canada 150 grant to create 10 historical interpretive signs. They have been mounted in locations around Bamfield that reflect the content of the signs.

Look for them on the east and west docks, the boardwalk, Brady’s Beach, Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre and the Grappler Inlet dock. The goal of the society is to add one additional sign each year.
